The 46th Annual Celebration of Creativity Fine Art Exhibit & Sale
Thurs., March 6th – Sun., March 9th, 2025
Held annually the first weekend in March at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Beaverton, the Fine Art Exhibit & Sale provides an unmatched showcase for more than 90 established and emerging Northwest artists. We are excited to be celebrating over 40 years. The Celebration of Creativity continues to be a special gathering of artists with unique displays and high quality of work exhibited. The Exhibit & Sale will feature a variety of ceramics, fiber art, garden art, baskets, glass, jewelry, mixed media, oil, acrylic, pastel, pottery, photography, sculpture, watercolor, and wearable art – virtually something for everyone.

Bithia Bjurman “Moments of quiet beauty and fleeting connection inspire my work. Whether it’s the satisfaction of a shared meal, the charm of an unposed interaction, or the poetry of an overlooked corner of a bustling city, I aim to capture the essence of everyday experiences.”
Deborah Schneider “Many potters are designers. I am one of them. For those of us who began our profession before it became a digital process, clay offers another experience that feeds our creativity—the pleasurable act of making something with our hands.”
KD Kahoot “I intend my pieces to fully engage the senses, nudging the viewer to experience the softness of naturally- printed and dyed textiles, or to contemplate Nature’s sumptuous light and colour. Patina and texture are ever-present in my work. Imperfections celebrated.”
Sarah Fine “I create vibrant ceramic pieces and mixed media paintings that celebrate the whimsical beauty of nature. My ceramic work includes bas relief wall hangings and sculptural pieces, all bursting with color and imagination.”
Karen Shawcross “The natural world is my refuge and inspiration. Painting is a spiritual practice for me. Learning to truly see the wonders of the world around me and put them to paper is a blessing in my life.”
Donna Stevens “My paintings are souvenirs of places where I’ve paused to enjoy the sights, sounds and feel of nature’s special places. In my heart, there is a very special place for trees, especially those with unique character.”

Meet the Artist: Harley Talkington “Strong places and personalities have what I call PRESENCE. If I see a place and am really there in my mind, I can feel its peace or vibrancy and am moved by it. Likewise, when I encounter a creature, its facial expression, posture or sheer beauty, it must be honored. Presence, then, draws me in, energizes, fascinates, and changes me. I hope my work does the same for you!”

Meet the Artists: Pionneke and Janis Thoolen “We incorporate many different techniques in our jewelry and most of our pieces cannot be duplicated and thus are one of a kind. The metals we use are mostly fine silver, sterling silver, argentium silver, 14K, 18K and 24K gold. And of course precious and semi-precious stones!”
