Selected Works
Val Hubbard “I begin the first layer with bright bold colors and continue laying down layers of paint. I sand, scrub and carve into the paintings bringing the initial layers peeking through. I will see something that interests me and I’ll start my journey of telling the painting’s story.”
Anne Johnson “My aspiration is to create beautiful enameled jewelry and creative wall art. It is a joy to watch the luscious and vibrant colors of vitreous enamel melt and fuse to metal. The pieces are kiln fired to about 1450 degrees. Each piece is unique!”
Kim McLaughlin “I am a watercolorist. I’m amazed with what a flexible medium it is. For every watercolor ‘rule,’ the opposite is also true. I was a graphic designer after an art school education. I’m returning to mediums that had delighted me.”
Pionneke and Janis Thoolen “We incorporate many different techniques in our jewelry and most of our pieces cannot be duplicated and thus are one of a kind. The metals we use are mostly fine silver, sterling silver, argentium silver, 14K, 18K and 24K gold. And of course precious and semi-precious stones!”
Linda Gerrard “As a fused glass artist, my real joy comes from designing and creating detailed landscapes that include some type of animal or bird. It brings me great joy to see someone’s face light up when seeing one of my pieces for the first time and to have them purchase and bring that piece home is a true delight.”
Sherry Bingaman “Silk is my fiber of choice, both for weaving and for dyeing. The folk art and colors found in Mexican, Central, and South American textiles are a constant inspiration. I never tire of playing with color and texture, often with a touch of whimsy.”
